    Be very mindful with this trader

    About a month ago I tried calling and emailing to book a test drive, but I didn't get a response, so decided to go straight away. The sales person said the car doesn't have MOT, but if I leave refundable 200 deposit they'll do it. He also said that if I don't like the car there will be absolutely no problem to have my deposit back. So I left the deposit and after two days the car was ready. Online the report said there were no advisories. I didn't like the car for numerous reasons, which I'm not going to list here, because it's a personal opinion and I don't want to force anyone to think like me. What was horrible was the sales person attitude. I explained why I don't like the car and that I don't want to buy it. He started being rude, saying that I've wasted his time, that he kept his part of the deal(MOT) and I didn't( but I did travel 1 hour to preston to test it)He kept being aggressive, saying not pleasant words. Eventually he wrote me a check for my deposit, but the attitude...

    Hi, thank you for your email, dear sir you addressed a couple of issues regarding the service you received at our garage, we would like to say we have a code of conduct which we stick by at all times with all our staff and would not allow anyone of our staff to behave in such a manner and this may have been a mere misunderstanding, if you would like to log a official complaint you can do so in writing and we will look into it further, however when you visited us if you had clearly stated you have changed your mind and that this vehicle was not suitable for you there would have been no misunderstandings, but rather to find faults like you didnt like the colour or ridiculous faults which you all ready had knowledge about further wasting our time. kind regards

    Very polite and helpful, not pushy to buy. Bought a Renault From them the car is perfect and price was great. Would recommend this place and I will be looking here first for our next car.

    Waste of time

    I phoned and called about a a Volvo S60. He said it had a slight problem with the light on the dash board. I travelled from Manchester to Preston to view this vehicle. When I arrived hone of the dash board worked. No gauges, Speedo etc Dishonest about the fault. He also said I can only test drive the vehicle if I was going to buy it. Time wasters.

    All round poor......

    Steer well clear is the only advice I can give. We purchased a Focus C Max which when we first looked at it, had the engine management light on. We were told it would be fixed before purchase. We were then allowed to take it a full 500 yards on a test drive. Within hours of us buying the car the light came back on so I got it independently tested and it was found to have numerous engine faults and the sills were found to be knackered. We then returned the car for a refund and were fobbed off with a cheque even though we had payed by card. All in all an experience never to be repeated and a dream for Trading Standards.

    hi, we are sorry you feel this way, we tried to give you a good deal by reducing the vehicle by £200.00 and held the vehicle for 4 weeks till you arranged the payment, unfortunately after a few days of you collecting the vehicle you found a problem which at this point you contacted us, at the very first instant you was offered a full repair, replacement or refund, in which case you wanted a refund, we excepted and you was offered a cheque to which you agreed, the payment was cleared to you within 4-5 working days. we appologise once again for any inconvenience, from time to time unexpected things do go wrong but we make sure we put them right. kind regards
