Be very mindful with this trader

About a month ago I tried calling and emailing to book a test drive, but I didn't get a response, so decided to go straight away. The sales person said the car doesn't have MOT, but if I leave refundable 200 deposit they'll do it. He also said that if I don't like the car there will be absolutely no problem to have my deposit back. So I left the deposit and after two days the car was ready. Online the report said there were no advisories. I didn't like the car for numerous reasons, which I'm not going to list here, because it's a personal opinion and I don't want to force anyone to think like me. What was horrible was the sales person attitude. I explained why I don't like the car and that I don't want to buy it. He started being rude, saying that I've wasted his time, that he kept his part of the deal(MOT) and I didn't( but I did travel 1 hour to preston to test it)He kept being aggressive, saying not pleasant words. Eventually he wrote me a check for my deposit, but the attitude...

Very polite and helpful, not pushy to buy. Bought a Renault From them the car is perfect and price was great. Would recommend this place and I will be looking here first for our next car.

I phoned and called about a a Volvo S60. He said it had a slight problem with the light on the dash board. I travelled from Manchester to Preston to view this vehicle. When I arrived hone of the dash board worked. No gauges, Speedo etc Dishonest about the fault. He also said I can only test drive the vehicle if I was going to buy it. Time wasters.

Steer well clear is the only advice I can give. We purchased a Focus C Max which when we first looked at it, had the engine management light on. We were told it would be fixed before purchase. We were then allowed to take it a full 500 yards on a test drive. Within hours of us buying the car the light came back on so I got it independently tested and it was found to have numerous engine faults and the sills were found to be knackered. We then returned the car for a refund and were fobbed off with a cheque even though we had payed by card. All in all an experience never to be repeated and a dream for Trading Standards.
